Ventures Through Flora

Welcome, Rebekah Entz, to the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, where her vibrant artwork fills the gallery with a dynamic range of mediums, including pastel, acrylic, and charcoal. Drawing inspiration from life, Entz brings an expressive and observational approach to her work.

From a young age, she has been captivated by color, a passion deeply influenced by the rich beauty of her Trinidadian heritage. Her pieces reflect this connection, blending bold hues with thoughtful composition to create artwork that is both lively and evocative.

Barbara J. Wolf Pastel Collection

In 1999, I began taking watercolor classes in my spare time as a creative outlet. Art helped me reconnect with an important part of myself while balancing the everyday responsibilities of being a teacher, mother, and wife.

Over time, my artistic journey expanded into sculpting and eventually into working with pastels. Since 2003, pastels have been my primary medium and remain one of my greatest passions.

Throughout the years, I have also taught both sculpting and painting classes, sharing my love of art with others. Today, I continue to explore new creative paths in acrylic painting while still creating works in pastel.
