While we do our best to accommodate all requests, please note that some dates, times, and spaces may not be available due to a variety of factors. We do our utmost to respond to inquiries within two business days.

Site visits do not equate an automatic reservation, so we ask that you do not send out any invitations, save-the-dates, or any other printed piece until you have a confirmed date or signed contract from Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.

Private Event Spaces

Due to maintenance, planting, and weeding schedules, outdoor area availability is fluid and any grounds requests outside the main Gardens areas should be discussed with the Events Coordinator. Note that outdoor spaces may look different than pictured due to weather and seasonal changes.

Orangerie

This space is our most sought-after. Airy, classy, and sunny, this space is surrounded by Palladian windows; light also floods in through the glass ceiling. Citrus trees offer fragrance and elegance and give the space a Mediterranean vibe.

Gathering Rooms

Tailor-made for conferences, meetings, and gatherings of all kinds, this room can be split to create two break-out rooms. State-of-the-art AV equipment ensures a seamless event, while large windows provide plenty of light. Access to the Solar Patio and Conservatory provides attendees an inspiring space for breaks.

Lobby

This large, bright, open area is the perfect space to add to your event for, or food service. Only available when we are closed to the public.

Board Room

With a small seating area overlooking the lake, large conference table, and A/V capabilities, this is the ideal space to meet with clients, make presentations, interview candidates, or hold meetings. It can also be combined with the Bride’s Room for added space for Bride or Groom on their wedding day.

Bride's Room

Designed specifically with the needs of the Bride in mind, this space has a relaxing atmosphere, full length mirrors, and cozy chairs. It's a great space to get your gown on and prepare for the most exciting day of your life.

Conservatory

This dazzling space is the showpiece of the Gardens, full of flora from all over the world. It contains three stories with balconies, a 60’ palm tree, and a stunning water feature. Colorful orchids, bougainvillea, and bromeliads provide an exotic, tropical flair, and the Fairy Garden captivates kids of all ages. Fog from the humidity control system adds a magical touch and keeps the space cool in hot weather. Only available when we are closed to the public.

Observation Deck

With its hanging baskets and green-roof planting, this deck also provides great views of Sloan’s Lake, the Children’s Village, and Frontier Park. The built-in sound system makes this a perfect setting for evening cocktails or an enchanting evening ceremony.

Solar Patio

Protected on 3 sides, this warm and inviting space is a perfect pairing for the Orangerie or Gathering Rooms for added enjoyment of the beautiful Wyoming days. Outdoor seating, sprawling planters, and available tent anchors make this space versatile for large events.

Peace Garden

Our largest and most popular outdoor rental area, the Peace Garden has a babbling water feature, reflecting pool and floral displays that change each year. Surrounded by towering evergreens, it provides the perfect amount of shade and light for stunning ceremony photos. The Moon Gate provides a perfect backdrop for small ceremonies.

Labyrinth

Get lost in the blooms and bricks, as you wend your way to your future partner in the center of the Labyrinth or join them under the tree canopy to say "I do." This peaceful, partially shaded area is perfect for any size ceremony.

The Glade

With views of the Discovery Pond and wetlands, This large space can accommodate large ceremonies. Framed by large trees, the space has a natural charm perfect for outdoor weddings.

Cottonwood Grove

Enjoy the gentle sound of thousands of leaves rustling in the wind in this lovely, shaded space, with plenty of room for large ceremonies or quiet corners for smaller group gatherings.

Perennial Garden Gazebo

Suited best for small, intimate events, this charming spot located next to the perennial walkway and sensory beds provides a tranquil space with easy access to parking.

Lily Pond

A quaint bridge beside a bubbling waterfall provides picturesque sights and sounds for small ceremonies and scenic photos.

Paul Smith Children's Village

Whimsy and merriment abound in this extraordinary space. Reservations are only available in the evenings and grant you access to all the excitement the Village has to offer, from the wetlands pond to the puppet theatre. The indoor classroom provides shade or shelter in case of inclement weather. Only available when we are closed to the public.

Catering Kitchens

The small catering kitchen is located on the South side of the Gathering rooms, with additional access to the Solar Patio for outdoor events. It is equipped with a standard refrigerator. Our large catering kitchen is connected to the North side of the Gathering rooms and is large enough to serve large parties. It has a warming oven, large refrigerator, and ice machine.
