We will walk through the arboretum, where Jessica Friis points out the trees and shrubs that have thrived for decades in Cheyenne’s climate with little to no irrigation and care. We will end with a picnic in the lath house. No tables are available, so please bring a chair or blanket. Bring your own lunch; dessert will be provided. Meet at the High Plains Arboretum lath house, 8601 Hildreth Road.
