About the Artist:

I feel I must have been influenced as a youngster by my mother, who was an artist herself and taught individual art classes. I was more interested in baseball until we moved to Brazil in 1973. It was there that I started drawing and became interested in art. I found later in life that I was influenced by the bright and earthly colors in Latin American art.
