Harvesting & Pressing Flowers Workshop

Join Exterior Horticulturist Danika Lesniak for this two-part, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to harvest, press, preserve, and creatively display flowers from the garden.

Part 1: Harvesting & Pressing Flowers
Saturday, September 26 | 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Learn which flowers and plants are best suited for pressing and gain hands-on experience using a flower press. With guidance from our staff, you’ll harvest flowers from the garden and carefully press them in a take-home flower press.

Part 2: Pressed Flowers & Framing
Saturday, October 10 | 10:30–11:30 a.m.

Welcome back for the second part of the workshop! Danika will guide you through gently removing your flowers from the press and creatively arranging them into frames. You’ll leave with a beautiful piece of pressed-flower art ready to display in your home.
