High Plains Arboretum Plant Sale

June 1 @ 10:00 am 2:00 pm

Looking for plants tough enough for Cheyenne? Shrubs, trees, and fruits (OH MY)will be available for purchase, including strawberries and raspberries developed specifically for Cheyenne. All varieties at the sale were tested and recommended by researchers at the Cheyenne Horticultural Field Station between 1930-1974. Many are still alive today in the High Plains Arboretum, where they have survived for decades in Cheyenne’s harsh climate with minimal irrigation and care. All proceeds benefit the High Plains Arboretum. The sale will be open to members of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens ONLY from 10 am – noon (memberships can be purchased at the door), and open to the public from 12-2 pm.
