Looking for plants tough enough for Cheyenne? Shrubs, small trees, shade trees, evergreen trees, and fruits will be available for purchase. All varieties at the sale were tested and recommended by researchers at the Cheyenne Horticultural Field Station between 1930-1974. Many are still alive today in the High Plains Arboretum, where they have survived for decades in Cheyenne’s harsh climate with minimal irrigation and care. All proceeds from the sale benefit the High Plains Arboretum. Event will take place in the Gathering Rooms of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Conservatory.
