Trees and Shrubs need thoughtful pruning to develop good branch structures and keep them healthy. Join Director Scott Aker and Horticulture Supervisor Isaiah Smith in this hands-on pruning workshop. You’ll learn how to pick the right equipment and how to safely use it, and you’ll learn all the ins and outs of pruning. After the demonstration portion of the workshop, you’ll get a chance to practice your new skills on a tree or shrub on the grounds of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.

This workshop is limited to 24 participants and pre-registration is required.
