DESCRIPTION:In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month\, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will host Following the Manito Trail provided by the American Heritage Center from September 15 through November 8\, 2026. \n\n\n\nIn partnership with CHISPA of Cheyenne and HOPE\, the Botanic Gardens will also host the first Memory Gathering Workshop for Following the Manito Trail to Wyoming: Mi Camino\, Mi Historia\, a community preservation project dedicated to documenting and celebrating the stories\, experiences\, and cultural heritage of Manito (New Mexican)\, Mexican\, and Mexican American families in Wyoming. \n\n\n\nWe invite the community to loan photographs\, textiles\, stories\, tools\, and other meaningful items for display during the exhibition.
