DESCRIPTION:Do you have extra vegetables from your garden or the farmer’s market? Peas don’t throw them out! Bring them to the Gardens Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and we will pass them to Cent$ible Nutrition Program and the Wyoming Hunger Initiative. These programs help feed our community! \n\n\n\nThis program runs until there are no vegetables to harvest from the crop. When you arrive\, please make your way to the office on the second floor\, and the staff will be happy to assist you.

SUMMARY:Wyoming Wildflowers by Ryan Goeken
DESCRIPTION:Based in Laramie\, Wyoming\, Ryan Goeken is an illustrator of the natural world\, using pen and watercolor to describe the beauty of Wyoming. Ryan studied biology and ecology during his undergraduate degree and also holds a master’s in sustainable agriculture. Many years of study and work in the working landscapes of Iowa\, the Philippines\, and now Wyoming have taught him to see the intricacies and interactions hiding in plain sight in the natural world. He especially loves illustrating wildflowers\, exploring the specificities of their anatomies and their habitats. In seeking and finding the small things\, he hopes to help train his own eyes and the eyes of others to seek and perceive the beauty and importance of all things. \n\n\n\nRyan’s exhibit can be seen on the second-floor landing\, and prints and originals can be purchased through the Tilted Tulip Gift Shop located in Shane Smith’s Grand Conservatory\, Tuesday through Friday\, 10 am to 5 pm

SUMMARY:3rd Annual Friends of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Mini Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is hosting its 3rd Annual Miniature Golf Tournament\, and we want you to be there! This year\, proceeds will go toward building the Education\, Agriculture\, and Trial (EAT) Garden – our community’s hub for learning\, experimenting\, and educating on backyard crop and ornamental gardening.  Your fun afternoon can help us build trial beds\, a grape arbor\, a cutting garden\, and much more! \n\n\n\nThis year’s tournament features an adult division and a kids’ division (ages 10-16 years). Grab a friend and register to play in a twosome! Adult twosome registration is $100/team. Kids’ twosome are $50/team. We’ll have refreshments\, raffles\, and a great time! Registration is limited to 36 teams so don’t delay! \n\n\n\n1:00 pm Team check-in\, warm-up\, and refreshments at the CBG \n\n\n\n2:30 pm Shotgun start at the Putt Hutt in Lions Park \n\n\n\n4:00 pm Awards\, raffle drawings\, and more refreshments at the CBG \n\n\n\nAdult twosome team registration: $100 \n\n\n\nKids twosome team registration: $50 \n\n\n\nMust pre-register. Tournament is limited to 36 twosomes.
