SUMMARY:Pollinators by James Overstreet
DESCRIPTION:During my artist residency with the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens\, I created a series of paintings celebrating the vital role of pollinators. From insects to mammals and their role in sustaining life on Earth. Inspired by the theme of pollinators\, my work explores their diversity and importance through vibrant\, expressive imagery. The exhibition is designed as an interactive scavenger hunt within the Botanic Garden’s conservatory\, inviting visitors to discover each piece while learning about pollinators and the plants they support. This playful\, educational experience encourages curiosity\, connection\, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

DESCRIPTION:Trees\, shrubs\, and fruits that have been tested in the Arboretum will be available for purchase\, including some that were developed specifically for Cheyenne. \n\n\n\nThe plant sale will open to members of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens from 10 a.m. to noon and the plant sale will be open to the public from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. \n\n\n\nThe High Plains Arboretum is located at 8601 Hildreth Road. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Arboretum. Questions should be directed to Jessica Friis at jfriis@cheyennecity.org.
