DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a stroll through the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens art gallery and embark on an adventure with Printmaker Sarah Konrad. Enjoy the color contrast and fine detail of her art created from carving linoleum and wood blocks by inking the block and running each color through a printing press. During our business hours\, these magnificent pieces will be displayed from July 30\, 2024\, through August 31\, 2024. These pieces can be purchased through the Tilted Tulip Gift Shop in the Shane Smith Grand Conservatory.

DESCRIPTION:Join Aaron Sommers for goofball dancing and Alexis Zaharas as she reads her new book Here We Grow during storytime at 11:00 am under the blue dome in the Paul Smith Children’s Village.  \n\n\n\nAlexis Zaharas is an accomplished artist\, educator\, and author of the children’s books “Sharing A Birthday” and “Here We Grow”. She has spent the past 3 years studying child pedagogy and the fine arts at the University of Wyoming.  \n\n\n\nBeing an Art Educator who has worked with diverse children of all ages for many years\, she was motivated to start writing and illustrating books that inspire not only artistic creativity in children but also highlight the life lessons young ones learn.
