The Laramie County Master Gardeners’ are presenting their annual Spring Garden Festival at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza! Shop for gardening related vendors and choose from
vegetables, annual flowers, herbs, houseplants, and hardy perennials, trees and shrubs.
The sale features “Plant Select” plants, which will grow and thrive in the difficult growing conditions of the high plains and mountains of Wyoming.

d to learn, share ideas and receive support in the art of bonsai. A program on cascade form will be presented by Carol Ripka.

At this workshop, participants will learn the basics of bonsai care and receive a Shimpaku juniper tree to take home. Pre-registration and a $35 fee to cover the cost of materials is required. Call 307– 637‑6349 to register.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is pleased to bring in Urban Forager, Kate Armstrong, to do a workshop about common edible urban wild plants found in our area. She will cover how to find edible plants, identification and how to prepare them for food and/or home remedies. The workshop includes a plant walk and a sampling of the plants collected.
Kate Armstrong has years of experience and loves to teach people what they can eat and where to find it, even if they have no place to grow a garden.

Tuesday, May 22, 4 p.m. For children of all ages, learn about rules and play the game Ta-Be. Participants will create their own stick with which to play. $1 per child.
