Saturday, August 29 – 1:00 p.m. In partnership with the American Red Cross and in recognition of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina – learn about disaster preparedness, receive and decorate a pillowcase for your own disaster supplies and use large cotton snowballs for an August Snowball Fight – (because a pillow fight seemed too dangerous!) Free.
Tuesday, September 1 - 4:00 p.m. A loud and fragrant art lesson. Pick flowers and beat the dye out onto watercolor paper for a one-of-a-kind memory of this growing season. $1 per child.
Wednesday, September 2 – 4:00 p.m. Uplifting art created with a chemical reaction. $1 per child.
Thursday, September 3 – 4:00 p.m. Fresh picked miniature floral bouquets. $1 per child
Tuesday, September 8 – 4:00 p.m. Now that school has begun learn the science for making your sandwich bags the hit (or miss) of the cafeteria. $1 per child.
Wednesday, September 9 – 4:00 p.m. Fresh picked miniature floral bouquets. $1 per child.
Thursday, September 10-Wednesday September 16 We will be CLOSED to the public for set-up and clean-up of our Annual Mad Hatter Fundraiser. Thanks for your kind understanding.
Thursday, September 17 – 4:00 p.m. A lesson in printmaking harvested from our garden. $1 per child.
Sunday, September 20 – 1:00 p.m. A scent-sational exploration into garden herbs and their social and culinary applications. $1 per child.
Tuesday, September 22 – 4:00 p.m. A chemical reaction and vegetables behaving inappropriately. $1 per child.
Wednesday, September 23 It’s the 6th Birthday of the Paul Smith Children’s Village!
Wednesday, September 23 – 4:00 p.m. For children of all ages, harvest fibrous root plants, sunflowers, upend them and create spooky miniature scarecrow decorations. $1 per child.
