Garden Tip by Shane Smith
Why do those bugs
spring up overnight?
One reason a
population of bugs seem to spring up overnight is that they are busy multiplying where you can't see them - on the
undersides of the leaves.
Always spray
for bugs on the underside of the leaves- that’s where most bugs
get their start. Use non-toxic sprays before you try harsh
chemicals. Even a hard spray of water can temporarily control
bugs by knocking them off for weeks if not forever. Less toxic
insecticidal soap also works well. Some pests such as aphids
populate exponentially, because they are born pregnant and the
young give birth to more in only a matter of days!
